PROJECT OVERVIEW

WP and our consultant team provided Downtown Revitalization Master Planning, Streetscape Design through Construction Phase Services to the City of Walterboro. Documents were prepared to revitalize the historic downtown commercial district’s urban and pedestrian friendly streetscape. Public questionnaires & open house meetings were conducted to guide the process. Recommendations included street by street replacement recommendations, sidewalk, curb and paving renovations, seating and gathering areas, plantings, signage and irrigation. Elected officials recently conducted a grand opening ribbon cutting for phase one improvements.
