PROJECT OVERVIEW

Historic Fourth Ward Park was one of the first projects undertaken by Atlanta BeltLine Incorporated. This former brownfield site has been transformed into civic open spaces with event lawns, splash pad play areas, playgrounds, historic artifacts, public art, a skate park, a multi-use field, and a large event greensward that fall within an improved Stormwater Management System. The park connects directly to the future 22-mile Atlanta BeltLine and has become a catalyst for additional redevelopment and reinvestment within the surrounding community.
