PROJECT OVERVIEW

WP provided design through construction administration of the Hilton Head Island Airport Campus Revitalization. The primary goal of this project is to create a beautiful first-class tourist destination experience that would rival many first-class resorts on the island. The project includes renovation and revitalization of the Main Airport Terminal Entrance in an effort to improve street visibility and give the campus a new and improved look. Additional improvements included a new monument entrance sign; a widened entrance and exit vehicular drive lanes; improved storm water management facilities; new landscaping, irrigation, and low voltage site lighting; and a triangular island to showcase the Humanus public art sculpture.
