PROJECT OVERVIEW

As part of an exciting $7.2 million dollar revitalization project to enhance current conditions of Harrison Avenue streetscape in Panama City, Florida, Wood+Partners was hired by the city to provide extensive design plans through implementation of construction documents. Currently in Phase 1 construction, this highly anticipated renovation project will improve the overall aesthetics of the area, set the precedent for future city projects, fix a failing infrastructure, and help to stimulate the local economy between the downtown central business district from Government Street to Fourth Street. Our planning and design services incorporated new branding and wayfinding to enhance continuity, strengthen pedestrian linkages and improve aesthetic characteristics of the local community.
