PROJECT OVERVIEW

WP led a team of varied consultants in completing a master plan, construction documents through construction phase services for a regional park located in Georgetown County, SC. This 300-acre known as 8 Oaks Regional Park is located just west of Georgetown, SC. Phase one was completed in the summer of 2012 and includes four 200-foot and two 300-foot baseball fields. The park’s long-range plan includes two additional 300-foot ballfields, a six-lane pool, a 350-foot baseball stadium, a skate park, four soccer fields, RV and tent campsites, rental cabins, an interpretive center, six tennis courts, and miles of proposed walking trails.
