PROJECT OVERVIEW

Wood + Partners teamed with Cypress Mill Development to create a 250-acre mixed-used traditional neighborhood on the brown field site of the historic Burton Swartz Cypress Mill in Perry, Florida. The legacy of the old mill has continued with the creative preservation of historic structures and the reuse of historic materials. The residential layout is pedestrian oriented and includes neighborhood parks and community open space. The natural features of Spring Creek will be protected and enhanced to provide the community with opportunities for hiking and environmental education. Residential areas will contain a mix of single-family homes, attached housing and apartments, and an active adult village. The residents of Perry will also enjoy a new 4-acre YMCA facility and community pool.
